WSP Spring Update

Posted by Melanie Porter on

It’s been a busy few weeks here at WSP. When the weather in Arizona is pitch perfect, we like to get out and meet all of you! Because of this, we have been going to festivals and fairs, and we will be attending a shave meetup next weekend! I just wanted to update you all on what we have been up to the past few weeks. If you don’t already, make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, we post all the time and show a lot of behind the scenes of what’s going on here at WSP. As always, make sure to reach out to us if you have any questions, comments, or ideas for future products!

At the end of March, we were able to go to the Tempe Festival for the Arts here in Arizona. It was the entire weekend and we were able to meet a lot of our existing customers and continue to spread the word about our products. Our most popular products at the event were our beard oils and bar soaps. Since they are our cheaper and smaller items, people generally gravitate towards those at events.

A lot of people were also picking up bars of our women’s soaps which was great! Personally, I use our lavender soap all the time and I love it, so it is always nice to see other people willing to give it a try.

We also redesigned our aftershave balm labels! Although we loved our labels from before, they just didn’t really fit our aesthetic anymore and it was time for something new. We are working on improving our aftershave balm formula to make it even more cooling. We have all been trying out different aftershave balm formulas for weeks and I think we are really getting somewhere! I can’t wait for you guys to try them out.

We are currently preparing for The Big Shave S’west that will be happening next week here in Chandler. Wet shaving enthusiasts will be gathering here in our sunny state for a ‘shave-cation.’ We will be giving tours, attending events, and doing interviews all week. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of coordination and organization to have an event like this, so we are glad we aren’t in charge of it. But we do have two tables, so we are planning on meeting a lot of people.

Now that we are approaching summer, our business usually slows down a little bit. After our busy winter and fall season, we are feeling ready to take a little break and catch up on things. We are planning on doing some serious spring cleaning and organizing here in our warehouse as well as catching up on packaging. We also want to get some more videos up on our YouTube channel and do some fun giveaways! We are happy for our success thus far in 2019 and can’t wait to see what this summer will bring to us.
