COVID-19 and WSP

Hi everyone, Mel here. A lot has been going on the past few weeks with the coronavirus around the world. At WSP, we are taking precautions to protect our staff as well as all of our customers in the best way we can. That being said, we don’t face a lot of the challenges many other large business faces. For example, we only have 5 employees, and most of us are part-time. We don’t see each other much because we work very different schedules. So, there’s never more than five people in our office at any given time. I have always worked about 75% of my job remotely, so this adjustment hasn’t impacted our work life that much.

We also already have many sanitation practices in place for our production team as they make products for all of you. This includes wearing gloves, goggles and masks, and wiping down each product with alcohol multiple times before it is placed on our shelves. We are taking even more precautions to make sure all these procedures are done efficiently and accurately.

Most of our sales are done online through our website and third-party carriers of our products. As long as the postal service is in operation, we will continue to ship out as many orders as we can each day. We have closed our storefront in Chandler for now, but if you want to come visit us, please make an appointment by emailing or calling our store so we can process customers in a healthy and safe way. While we do not want to keep our store closed for long, we do want to prioritize the safety of our employees and their families by minimizing contact with the customers.

Many people have asked how they can support us during this time. We appreciate every order you all place through our website. It’s what makes us able to pay our employees and keep our business running. You can also purchase a gift card through the website if you don’t feel comfortable buying our products right now. We appreciate every shout-out, review, post and picture that you put online. By helping to spread the word about WSP, we are able to grow our social presence. We have already seen so much support and an outpouring of love from our fans and we are so grateful. Now more than ever before, we need your support as we try to keep business going.
