how to use it
Formula T performs best when fully hydrated.
Soak your shaving brush thoroughly.
Load directly from the jar for 20 to 30 seconds until the brush is well coated.

Having only ever used stuff off the shelf from Walmart, I was blown away by how good this shave soap is for my skin and the shave. I’m used to having lots of bumps and irritation, but none of that has happened after using this. It lathers very easily and I’m able to reapply multiple times during my shave. The scent is as described, and it isn’t overpowering.

I was reluctant to order tobacco shave soap simply because I wasn't sure how it would smell. I had already used several different items from WSP and was always pleased with the product. They really delivered on this scent; I highly recommend it if you're looking for something new. It lathers good and I always get a good shave with it.
tobacco? there are dozens of soaps out there with some type of variation of tobacco. I have been reluctant to try any of them. I am 60 years old and remember when people used to smoke on line in the bank. i couldnt help but think that a tobacco scent was gonna smell like my old man's pontiac bonnevile, or my aunt rosa with a lucky strike between her stained fingers. WRONG. this soap smells leafy and fresh, kinda like when your trimming the hedges. i assume that is what a fresh tobacco leaf smells like. there are many reviews about the lather and performance, so i wont go on about that. this is a top tier soap. forget your aunt rosa, this is worth a try
First and foremost, superb shipping. Placed order on Monday, got it on Wednesday. To Jersey! Period. Now the soaps. Formula T in Barbershop, Tobacco, & Mahogany. Great scents, love Tobacco. Girlfriend loves it too. All I will say is this Gents (Ladies too): I've tried them all, Tabac, TOBS, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Stirling, blah, blah, blah. The Formula T takes a back seat to none of them. Latherability, cushion, glide, it's all there and in spades. $14.99 people, and this stuff would be worth it at twice the price. I straight shave with a Gold Dollar 208 (thanks Lee) and a Wade and Butcher 13/16 Barber's Notch plus countless other de razors. (RAD Real Bad!) Case in point. I have 2-3 go to de blades I use, Bolzano Superinox, Feather Hi Stainless, and Polsilver Iridium. Excellent blades imo. I have Gillette's , Personna Reds, Astra, etc. Those secondary blades feel almost as good and smooth as my top 3 go to's with WSP'S soaps. It is that good that now I've kept all those other blades. And my face feels luxuriously soft, and moisturized. I've said to much but I'll end by saying this: I've put all the other soaps on Ebay, WSP is all I need. You guys Rock!!!
Just purchased the tobacco and mahagony fragrance set (oil, shave soap, and aftershave).
Both smell amazing. Shaved with the tobacco tonight and the aroma just blew me away! My wife loved it, particularly the aftershave. I will try the mahagony tomorrow. So far, it looks like I'm going to have to try the Gaelic Tweed and Matterhorn, and get the colognes to all of these as well! Thank you, WSP for a job well done!
I ordered the Formula T Tobacco Shaving soap. Since I'd tried the Vegan Rustic Fougere Noire Soap and the Blackbeard, and I was impressed with the quality of these soaps. Excellent lather, slickness, cushion... And they are American Made!
I thought the Formula T Tobacco was incredible, I love the scent, it's not an overpowering scent, it's really nice. My face felt so soft and moisturized. It makes you look forward to opening that tin and lathering up.

I just received my Formula T Tobacco yesterday and tried it out this morning and let me tell you, if you haven't tried this yet, you are missing our BIG TIME. I tried the rustic shave soap which I also love from Wet Shaving Products, but this stuff is so slick and leaves the skin feeling conditioned and so fresh. I can't get over the tobacco sent either, it smells soooooo good. I look forward to trying the other scents in this line as this is the best I have ever used.
