how to use it
Formula T performs best when fully hydrated.
Soak your shaving brush thoroughly.
Load directly from the jar for 20 to 30 seconds until the brush is well coated.
Build your lather on the face or in a bowl.
Add water gradually until the lather becomes shiny, dense, and creamy.

All of your shaving soaps are amazing. they last a crazy long time...I shave every day, due to being in the military and these(4.7 oz tins) last me about 6 months. If i had to pick a scent profile.. it would be between Tobacco, Mahagony, and Sandlewood.

Scent wise I was very impressed, kind of a sweet take on a woody scent. Nice and strong scent as well. Definitely one of my favorites currently.
Purchased the Mohagany fragrance package recently. When combined with the matching pre shave oil, soap, and after shave, I get a great shave with a scent that lasts all day. It has a nice spicy, sweet tone that makes you feel as though there should be an oil painting of yourself in the boardroom.
Mahogany is a terrific scent and the soap lathers great, is slick and moisturizes. I have tried other soaps and WSP is the absolute best and given the price it is unbeatable!

I like most WSP products, but I must say that Formula T Mahogany should be it’s flagship product. My daughter and wife love the scent. It’s sweet, yet woodsy. It lasts for a few hours without being overpowering. Yet it’s gentle enough and does not cause my sensitive skin to adversely react to the fragrance.
You can’t go wrong trying this soap.
Since I started wet shaving, I've tried many other brands of shave soaps. Some of the shave soaps were good and some not so good at lathering up and providing a slick shave. I personally get a great lather and shave everytime when using either my boar or badger hair brushes. The slickness of these Formula T soaps produced by WSP are awesome and I highly recommend these soaps for the beginner or the experienced wet shaver. WSP's Formula T is the only brand of shave soap I purchase now and I always keep the Mahogany, Bay Rum, & Tobacco on hand as my go to shave soaps. Also, the compliments I get when friends or family members come over and say how they couldn't resist opening up each tin on the counter of my bathroom and smelling the scents.
My wife loves the mahogany scented Formula-T shaving soap. I originally bought a sample size container of it and used it only for special occasions. It has a relaxing but sophisticated, masculine scent. I also have Barbershop and Sandlewood scented Formula-T. All of these soaps perform great.
The shave is excellent. This is an easy to load and lather soap that is very slick. I have used it both with a shavette and safety razor. It is one of my go to soaps.
I got into wet shaving with a DE razor about 6 years ago. Since then I probably watched 100 videos on how to make soap lather well. It was never consistent but mostly watery and never thick. Que WSP I got mahogany and love this stuff. Always thick lather and the pre and post shave work wonderful. Will buy more of the line

I just got the Mahogany Formula T Shaving Soap and tried it, cause I did not shave this morning. Wow. It lathers like no other product I have tried. It feels great going on. My shave was close and very smooth and it smells great. Lee has a life long customer.

I didnt know what I was missing for all these years until I found WSP! No BS, I went about 15 yrs without taking a razor to my face because my skin reacted so badly to shaving. I just used to use trimmers to get it nice and close. Being a proud bald man I decided I was gonna go all in and shave it all......... except my beard, of course! I did some research and found a lot of advice to go for an organic shave product and stumbled upon WSP. I decided on the Formula T fragrance set in Sandalwood. The fragrance is absolutely amazing! The soap lathers up very easily with one of WSP badger hair shave brushes and lathering up is an absolutely spiritual event. I blew the dust off the old razor and had at it. Had a great shave and finished up with a splash of WSP aftershave and felt like a new man. Low and behold, my skin felt amazing with no ill effects and I smelled great. My wife even loved it and my new smooth shiny dome! Now im totally hooked. Just ordered a second fragrance set and am going back to the basics with a straight razor and strop. Im definitely a customer for life and am proud to be supporting a natural American made product!
I have had the pleasure of using several WSP products, and will without a doubt be buying more. First of, the customer service and return policies are the best I have come across. No problems and no questions asked if there is a problem, and its a pleasure dealing with WSP. Secondly, the performance is first class. I have been wet shaving for very long, but I have tried several different brands, like TOBS, Stirling, Crown King, Razorock and Shaver Heaven. They are all good, but I get the most trouble-free shave with WSP soaps. I have tried both the Rustic and the Formula T (respectively Pumpkin Spice and Barbershop) and the performance of both is very, very good. I also gave the Gaelic Tweed aftershave a go, and it is the best aftershave I own.
All in all, I can not recommend WSP enough, especially at this price point and with such great customer service. You can tell WSP really cares about their customers and really do whatever they can for you to be satisfied with your purchase. Keep up the good work!
First and foremost, superb shipping. Placed order on Monday, got it on Wednesday. To Jersey! Period. Now the soaps. Formula T in Barbershop, Tobacco, & Mahogany. Great scents, love Tobacco. Girlfriend loves it too. All I will say is this Gents (Ladies too): I've tried them all, Tabac, TOBS, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Stirling, blah, blah, blah. The Formula T takes a back seat to none of them. Latherability, cushion, glide, it's all there and in spades. $14.99 people, and this stuff would be worth it at twice the price. I straight shave with a Gold Dollar 208 (thanks Lee) and a Wade and Butcher 13/16 Barber's Notch plus countless other de razors. (RAD Real Bad!) Case in point. I have 2-3 go to de blades I use, Bolzano Superinox, Feather Hi Stainless, and Polsilver Iridium. Excellent blades imo. I have Gillette's , Personna Reds, Astra, etc. Those secondary blades feel almost as good and smooth as my top 3 go to's with WSP'S soaps. It is that good that now I've kept all those other blades. And my face feels luxuriously soft, and moisturized. I've said to much but I'll end by saying this: I've put all the other soaps on Ebay, WSP is all I need. You guys Rock!!!
When my father requested a good shaving soap for his birthday, all good review on the Internet brought me here to WSP. My Dad LOVES these soaps and considers them the best he has ever used. I ordered Gaelic Tween, Ol'Kentucky, and Mahogany. Gaelic Tweed is really fresh and great for spring and summer, but I really think Ol'Kentucky is outstanding. I've not yet smelled Mahogany, however dad says he gets lots of compliments after he shaves with that one. We are now faithful customers and I've since ordered a brush, razor and soaps for my fiancé for the holidays. I'm certain he'll love every product.

Just purchased the tobacco and mahagony fragrance set (oil, shave soap, and aftershave).
Both smell amazing. Shaved with the tobacco tonight and the aroma just blew me away! My wife loved it, particularly the aftershave. I will try the mahagony tomorrow. So far, it looks like I'm going to have to try the Gaelic Tweed and Matterhorn, and get the colognes to all of these as well! Thank you, WSP for a job well done!

I have used both the Rustic and Formula T shaving soaps from Wet Shaving Products. They are both great performers: The Rustic Mahogany and Vetiver are a knockout! The formula T with tallow is every bit as good. I actually tried the Formula T first, because I was convinced that tallow was essential for glide and post shave feel, but I've since tried the Rustic vegan soap, and it is wonderful stuff too -- I was wrong about tallow being necessary!
As a recovering tallow snob, I have to say that both lines of WSP shaving soaps are excellent -- with or without tallow.
