Very happy with my purchase, first time using a brush and shaving soap. I've been just using regular bar soap the past few years, after giving up on shaving creams in a can. I'm actually shaving more often now. Have had compliments on the scent as well.
I really like this soap. I usually use a creme and I've noticed that with a soap, the blade tends to dull a bit quicker. An extra bit of stropping is all that's needed though. The scent is subtle and I use it in conjunction with WSP sandalwood aftershave. I like it and my wife likes it. A client gave me a hug the other day and asked what I was wearing. It certainly has an effect.
Purchased this soap about 3 - 4 months ago while visiting WSP. This is a great soap loads easy, face lathers easy with a thick lather that both cushions and is slick. Great size for traveling. I travel with TOBS in a small container and this soap has become my go to. I lather this soap with my WSP synthetic silvertip and the combination works great. When I am working in Phoenix next month I will be buying more scents.
These soaps lather great even in the hard water I have here in Southern California area. The lather forms quickly and easily, is slick and not overly scented. The Sandalwood has a good woodsy, spicy fragrance and the new Formula T Bay Rum has a great bay rum fragrance without the clove smell so often present in lesser bay rum scents.
They stand fully behind their products and the delivery is quit fast.

The soaps are the absolute best! Silky smooth, fantastic lather, scents that are truly appealing (and Wife approved) and all of this in a Vegan soap! Lee you have out done yourself and you have a customer for life here.
Barbershop shave soap is a very smooth scent that transforms the shaving process to a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Lathers very easily with tall peaks and lasts on the face and in the bowl for an entire shave. (Other Vegan soaps fizzle out after one application) not this one, whisked it up and stayed luxuriously smooth and full as I passed over my face three times.
Also got the Sandlewood, the scent is exactly as described. The tins in which these great soaps come in are displayed proudly on my shaving counter as they are as well crafted as the soaps that reside inside them.
I ordered 7 different scents and they are all amazing. I got black amber vanille, blackbeard, mahogany, matterhorn, sandalrose, sandalwood, and starbucks. All of them have a great scent but are not overpowering. These soaps lather very easily, have great cushion, and slickness for days. The lather does not dissipated even after a third pass. And the customer service is EXCELLENT!!!! They even sent me a free damaged bottle of their aftershave just for me to try out(cap of the bottle had a huge crack in it). I would highly recommend ANY of their products, weither it is a brush, razor, shave soap, aftershave, body soap, or anything else. WSP is a company that truly cares about their price point being fair and having superb customer service.
