The "Brush-Safe" Formula Most pre-shave oils are heavy and greasy. They clog your pores and ruin expensive badger brushes. We formulated ours differently. By using a base of Grapeseed and Organic Jojoba, we created a "dry" oil that rinses clean. It gives you the slickness you need without the gunk you hate.

Our shave oil uses a focused blend of lightweight plant oils to prep the beard, condition the skin, and improve razor glide before the first pass.
Jojoba Oil helps soften the beard and condition the skin without feeling overly heavy. Because it closely resembles the skin’s natural oil, it helps the formula feel balanced and easy to wear.
Avocado Oil adds richer conditioning and helps soften tougher beard growth before shaving. It also helps the skin feel more comfortable during and after the shave.
Apricot Kernel Oil gives the blend a smooth, lightweight feel and helps improve softness in both the beard and the skin underneath. It helps the oil spread easily without feeling sticky.
Grapeseed Oil keeps the formula lighter and faster absorbing. It helps improve glide and makes the shave oil feel slick without leaving behind a greasy residue.
Fragrance gives each shave oil its scent profile without changing the core performance of the formula.

how to use it
Apply a small amount of shave oil to damp skin and beard before lathering your shave soap or cream. Massage it into the stubble and skin underneath, then shave as usual.

Great performance like always by WSP soaps. Only complaint is just a minor gripe. I've never been a huge fan of the tubs. Dont exactly lend themselves to brush loading. Im gonna have to look into smaller than 24mm knots. The scent is pretty nice. Really like that currant punch

Once I discovered the joys of shave soap I never went back to the fluff in a can. Once I discovered Formula T I never left.
The size is perfect if you travel, are unsure about a scent, or just trying a formulation for the first time. Easy to pack, won’t crush no matter how you pack, and totally reusable and recyclable. Get yourself a shaving brush to go with it and both of them take up less space in your kit than a can of big-name foam.
This is my first experience with a tallow soap. I must confess I do not care for it after initial trial. It does not load on the brush as hoped.
My husband loves the Hercules hold! It's the best hold his handlebar has gotten out of a wax.
My husband loves the beard oil and balm. His favorites are Barbershop, Mahogany and Tobacco. My daughter loves the scents so much that she wishes you made candles.

I bought both the shaving soap and the body bar. Both arrived promptly. Upon arrival both had the promised cedar scent. After the first use, the scent was mostly gone from the soap and completely gone from the shaving soap. The shaving soap is quite serviceable, I do get a good shave with it, but the scent is gone. I’m disappointed in that.
The lather and cushioning was as great as the other WSP products. The scent really left me wanting. I could barely smell anything and what I did get was like a day old, cold fire. It was not at all what I was hoping for.
Smells great! Although I wish it were a little stronger. Lathering and quality of soap top rate!

This is a really good beard oil.
I like using there aftershave. It's not so powerful that it says on you all day. Enough that after several hours it fades. My wife enjoys the scents as well. Fast shipping.
Got this as the matching balm for the Formula T shaving soap. A bit pricey, but a little of the balm goes a long way ==> should last quite a while. I usually prefer post-shave balms (as opposed to splashes) for their moisturizing properties and this does that very well. There's also a nice cooling sensation in it (just a hint of menthol? but not so much that you can actually smell it.) And as with the Olympus scent Formula T soap, my wife likes the aroma. So again, highly recommend this.
I've used several products from the Wet Shave line and this one was for travel. It arrived sooner than expected and performs wonderfully as expected. I highly recommend.
Overall nice only issue I have is the scent was not strong enough.
This has became my go to beard balm. First off the scent is practically spot on Aventus. You get all the smoky pineapple goodness and it stays with you for several hours. Now for the balm. The balm leaves a great feel to your beard, and the light hold keeps helps keep the shape all day. I’ll definitely be ordering more in different scents.

Hydrating I think it could use more water. It is a thick soap. Tallow meets expectations and post-shave feel is the best. I enjoy tobacco scent for man, mom thought it was strong for her. I think the only thing I would do is to order the Rustic in addition to the Tallow Big T Formula so you get a sense of tallow and vegan.
I like a shaving soap that doesn’t evaporate while I’m shaving. Formula T Shaving Soap lathers up very well, and retains moisture and softness while I’m shaving. The aroma is pleasing, as well, and one of the best things is how long a tin of Formula T lasts. I recommend it!

Everything we have bought from Wet Shaving Products has been excellent quality. I've been a customer for a long time and the rustic shaving soap is the best hands down. Fragrances are great as well.
I use this oil as pre shave and bear oil
I don't normally like Oily pre-shaves but this one was amazing. It smells just like the formula T and aftershave. It makes it super simple to apply shave soaps afterwards and shaves without issues.

Lightweight that helps my razor burn that I often get from shaving. It is not greasy, I enjoy the scent, and a little goes a long way.
I wanted to love this but the scent falls short for me, it does have longevity so if you find one you like you'll be able to smell it throughout the day. Otherwise I enjoy the product so I'm interested to try the unscented version.
