I've always bought store bought aftershave before this. I won't again. When I got it in the mail I opened it immediately; it wasn't what I was expecting... It was better. It has a classy smell, but not an old man smell. If that makes sense. It also comes in a glass bottle, which is pretty cool. Next order I make I'll definitely be ordering the pre shave, too.
First, this performs like a great splash. Soothes my face, moisturizes nicely, and leaves me feeling good. Then there is the fragrance. I've never had the opportunity to see what the Creed smells like, but this is wonderful! The fragrance sticks around for a long time, and is not at all overpowering. For the price, I can't think of a better value than the WSP tonic splashes.

Currently own seven of your scents, but Gaelic Tweed is a home run in every respect. Smells great (I frequently unscrew the tin just to take a"hit'), pillowy lather, incredible cushion. I recently purchased the Gaelic Tweed Aftershave Tonic Splash to complement the soap. Great decision. Tightens my face post-shave, without the cloying stink cloud of many aftershaves. Purchased the Barbershop Aftershave Tonic Splash at the same time. Ditto my thoughts for that product. Your customer service is unbelievable. Purchased the Gaelic Tweed aftershave, and it is the best I have ever tried. Simple as that. The scent is amazing, like "have to smell every time I am in the bathroom" kind of amazing. It is fresh and clean - and while I did not know what to expect scent-wise on this one, it is quite familiar. If you are not sure what it smells like, like me, I think you will still recognize it when you open it up the first time (ooh, its that one!) and its great. The strength of the scent is perfect, in my opinion. Its there, you can smell it for some time, but it is not at all too strong or uncomfortable. But the best thing about the aftershave, is that it actually makes my skin feel hydrated, instead of dry like many splash-aftershaves does. There is without a doubt that aftershave-sting from the alcohol, but it also soothes the skin. I feel no need to use a balm afterwards, like I do with some other splashes. The only complaint I have is that the label is not waterproof, so if you get water on it, it will turn white. However, this is an amazing product, the best aftershave I own, and I will definitely be coming back for more.
