A few years back, okay 15 years back, my lovely bride purchased a bar of soap to just sit in the bathroom, as sort of a solid cologne/potpourri. I (wisely) didn't say anything as the bathroom smelled pleasant. The first day I used the Blackbeard Castille soap, the bathroom suddenly smelled like Blackbeard. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of scent given off by this little bar of soap. I travel for work, so I packed my bar of soap and went to work. I believe I will get two weeks of use out of this bar of soap. That is about standard for a regular bar of soap, so the idea is, pack a new bar of soap as I am heading out to work and not bring it back after two weeks on the job. I may see if I can leave an unopened bar of Blackbeard in the bathroom so it can smell like me while I am gone. As a follicly challenged individual, I like the idea that I can also use the soap as my shampoo, because nobody thinks about bald guys washing their remaining hair. So, nice scent, fits my lifestyle, dual purpose and the wife likes it. I call that a win.
