We built this fragrance to capture the smell of volcanic soil and ancient roots. It doesn't ask for permission; it commands the room with a dark, smoky gravity that feels like armor.

• The Root vs. The Leaf: Cheaper vetiver scents use the grassy top of the plant, which smells like hay. We use the root. It provides a deep, resinous, and almost chocolate-like earthiness that you can literally feel in the back of your throat.

The Olfactory Journey:

• The Opening (0–30 Minutes): It hits you with an aggressive crack of Crushed Black Pepper and tart Bergamot. It is spicy, dry, and immediately wakes up the senses.
• The Heart (1–4 Hours): As the spice settles, the "black" notes emerge. A heavy dose of Cedarwood and Sandalwood creates a dry, woody bridge.
• The Dry Down (4–10+ Hours): This is where the money is. The Haitian Vetiver takes over, warming on your skin to create a rich, smoky, and earthy aura that lingers all day.

Concentration: Eau de Parfum (EDP) This is not a drugstore cologne (3% oil). This is a true Eau de Parfum (15–20% concentration). We compounded it to survive the heat, the workday, and the evening out without needing to reapply.
