Black Amber Vanille is a winner!
WSP knocked this one outta the park. The scent is warm, smooth, and sweet without smelling like I rubbed a vanilla cupcake all over my face. 😂 The soap lathers up beautifully, has great slickness, and gives a really comfortable shave.
The splash carries that same fantastic scent and makes a perfect finishing touch.
Bottom line: great performance, great scent, and a damn fine shave. Black Amber Vanille has definitely earned a permanent spot in my den!
Black amber vanilla is the soft jazz, fine cigar, fireplace sitting, snifter of warm brandy kind of soap. It provides a rich lather, warming scent but not overpowering and rinses clean.
Mostly bees wax. Doesn’t do much as a balm.
The Black Amber scent is amazing. This group of products has been wonderful for my skin. The shave routine takes a little longer, but not having bumps and irritated skin is well worth it.
This has a great scent and lathers up great either in a bowl or on your face. As they state its a thirsty soap so get the soap on your brush and dab the brush in a little warm water. I recommend this product. Cheers and happy shaving!
Ship in a box like you do bars of soap. More convenient for people with their own shave mug.

I bought this for my hubby as it said it was the closest balm to smelling like the old Langerfeld Balm used to smell. It is very close - just a little less fragrant but I do love the smell.

Another scent that I love from WSP. I prefer the Rustic Shaving Soap to the Formula T, it just feels a little lighter to me and rinses off cleanly. Part of a great shave!
The guys at WSP are always helpful and knowledgeable. I have gone down to their storefront and their people have shared a lot of knowledge with me and let me poke around and smell what’s available. Great company local or online.
Great products
I’ve been using this shaving soap for years and at this point it’s an essential part of my morning routine. Good lather, good glide, easy rinse when done. The only thing holding back from five stars is that the scent does not stay as strong from the first shave to the last, and that if you keep the lid on the puck and don’t let it dry out between uses it turns to goo and doesn’t last as long. But since no other company has beat rose problems either, it’s a quandary for the ages.

The soap you produce with its natural ingredients is great. I am allergic to almost all the soap sold in retail stores. With WSP I don’t have to be concerned about it. It is well worth the money. Best beard oil out there. Just straightforward ingredients and the perfect scents. Not too heavy and not too light...just right.
This stuff is great. It's easy to apply, not too stiff and leaves a great smell on my beard. It smells like sugar cookies once applied. One of my buddies asked me if I had been baking cookies when I walked into the room once. I told him it was just me. He seemed a little disappointed. I, on the other hand, am not.
I ordered the Black Amber soap because of the great scent. I obtained small sample bar and was blown away by the ease of developing a copious amount of lather within a few seconds. The scent is so good that my wife now uses the same bar of soap because she loves the ease of developing a lot of lather and she also loves the scent.
