how to use it

Formula T performs best when fully hydrated.

Soak your shaving brush thoroughly.

Load directly from the jar for 20 to 30 seconds until the brush is well coated.

Build your lather on the face or in a bowl.

Add water gradually until the lather becomes shiny, dense, and creamy.

Formula T is a thirsty soap, so do not stop at a dry lather. Keep adding small amounts of water until you get the cushion, slickness, and glide the formula is known for.

So... really awesome shaving soap and makes a really thick lather. I have a sensitive skin and usually break out if there is a lot of ingredients in the soaps. This one is simple, smooth and a bada$$ scent! Nothing wrong with Sandlewood soap but got tired of that being my only option. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best shaving soap I've used. I've been using a more expensive, less natural shaving soap for years. First time trying this and I'm sold. Rich creamy lather, I've shaved 6 times so far, can't even tell I've used any out of the tub. Great shave, great smell, quality ingredients.

Amazing Soap, Poor Packaging

This is a first class soap, with a subtle scent, and a wonderful lather! My only knock is the tin the soap comes in. The tin is 1/3 smaller than any other soap I’ve ever purchased in over 25 years of wet shaving. Don’t get me wrong, you are getting 4.7 oz’s of soap, but the tin itself is so small in diameter that a medium size brush barely fits. This makes lathering your brush rather awkward and sloppy. If WSP would put their great soap into a standard size tin this problem would be solved, and this soap would be come a part of my regular rotation. For $25 they could easily afford a standard size tin!

Better than ever

I was a Gaelic Tweed guy until Lee sent me a trail bar of barbershop soap. I feel head over heels with it. The shave soap is the best I've ever used and it seems barbershop lathers more fully than Gaelic Tweed. Amazing product!!!

The scent of this soap is a real classic barbershop. It smells clean and fresh, and a litlle powdery. The scent is just very light, doesn’t stay long time...

About the soap, the lather is very creamy, the razor slides without any diffuclty. It lets the skin nourrish and protect very well.

Great stuff

I've been using shave soap for a few years now and this has become my favorite one. It was the first I tried and after experimenting with a couple of other brands I came back to WSP. I don't see myself ever changing brands. The barbershop scent is great. It's not too heavy and can be paired with other fragrances without clashing. During the Spring and Summer months I pair it with the Summer Breeze cologne and aftershave and they work very well together. Also Lee's customer service is second to none.

I Found My "Go-To" Shaving Soap

After purchasing several tins of Rustic Shaving Soap and Formula T, I found my favorite "go-to" soap product. But everything else I've tried has been GREAT too! And I'm not going to stop experimenting. I should also mention that I recently placed an order requesting a delay in shipment, and requesting a shipment date; my request was noticed and followed…..to a "T."
