Alright WSP Fans, the time has finally arrived. I am finally happy with the final product. Yup, only took me about 500 tries to get it right, of which 15-20 were complete formula overhauls (I lost count after #9).
But, great things come to those who persevere, and the “soap gods” finally shined down upon my efforts. Okay, okay, I know it’s all science, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t feel like I was trying my hand at alchemy instead of chemistry. Every effort up until now was some sort of a tradeoff. Great performance, croap consistency. Good consistency; bad performance. Good performance, not the correct consistency. Great consistency & performance, but not temperature stable. And on and so on…
That all changed with my second to last complete formula overhaul. The previous version was great, but the consistency wasn’t quite right and it somewhat temperature unstable. So I told myself I’d try one more change and if that didn’t work, this would be the final formula. And voila! It worked better! Having finally cracked the final code in the maze, the path to the final version was clear and development swift.
And the rest will be history. Initial runs will be limited as I try to make more and see what the reception will be.
