How to Use It
After the shave, you can use it either on it's own or in conjunction with our aftershave tonic. Use it only on the areas you shaved, or on your whole face. It works just as good as a general face lotion, but with a little cooling sensation added. Great for those summer months or if you just want to feel a little bit more chilly.
Use the pump bottle to dispense enough product to cover the areas you wish to moisturize and apply using your finger tips.
I personally like to use it with the aftershave toner. They work well together. The toner will clean, tone & tighten the skin and the balm will give you all day moisture. Use the toner first and then apply the balm.
The Story Behind the Product
I created the aftershave balm for those dry winter months to combat the winds of winter. I designed it to be used in conjunction with a traditional aftershave tonic or on its own. Using a blend of hydrating oils and emollients, I set about to keep the winter itch at bay. And, because I’m a victim of adult acne, I also made sure it wouldn’t clog pores and inflame your skin.
It also had to be light & non greasy. Because nothing is worse than having that sticky-heavy feeling on your face all day.
So, I took some skin superfoods such as shea butter & argan oil to make the best damned balm possible. Then I added some cooling menthol & healing allantoin to make it even better. Refreshing menthol adds a cooling sensation to get rid of any irritation or burn. Soothing allantoin will help keep your skin healthy.

Bay Rum - A true classic. We based our bay rum off of a two century old recipe we found. Combining all the true classic bay rum scents, we went truly old school with this blend. Using only essential oils, this is what bay rum is supposed to smell like. Notes of: West Indies bay leaf, rum, lime, cinnamon, & allspice.
Black Amber Vanille - Vanilla is combined with a rustic amber and rounded out with black Myrrh and a splash of Egyptian Musk.
Blackbeard - Bringing you back to the Golden Age of Piracy and the Pirate's code Blackbeard epitomized. Now, while we certainly don't condone piracy, smelling like a pirate has never smelled this good! To create Blackbeard, we started with tobacco, then added some cherry, vanilla, patchouli, cloves, and other spices.
Black Orchid - This is a dark and fantastic unisex scent. Made with wood and fruit accords, the notes include: Black Truffle, Black Orchid, Black Plum, Noir Gourmand Accord, Patchouli. Inspired by Tom Ford Black Orchid.
Boston Leather - Leather making was one of America's first industries. We set out to recreate the smell of leather Americana. Named after the Boston Leather District, we created a deep and classic leather scent. Top notes of suede dries down to tannin, cumin, & wood notes.
Citrus Blast - Just like it's name suggests, lemon, lime, & orange blasts your nose, followed by middle notes of strawberry, black currant, & jasmine, with a sandalwood base.
Fougere Noir - Based off of Drakkar Noir, this is an aromatic fougere with top notes of bergamot, rosemary, lavender, middle notes of cardamom & geranium, and a dry down of vetiver, cedar, and fir balsam.
Mahogany - It's a little sweet, a little spicy, and a lot of sexy. Sensual, woody, and spicy is how one customer's wife described it. "It reminds me of walking through a forest." is how another customer put it. "A perfect blend of sweet, spicy, & woody". I started with a base note of mahogany and then accented it with bergamot, vanilla, cedar and allspice notes. Then I threw in some cedar, vanilla, & patchouli to round it out.
Matterhorn - This fragrance was designed to take you to the Swiss Alps and the sparkling streams of water of the spring snow melt. Crisp and fresh, this is a fantastic fragrance. Inspired by Creed Silver Mountain Water.
Ol' Kentucky - We started the blend with top notes of bourbon and base notes of oak, sandalwood, & a hint of patchouli.
Royal Leather - A rich & dense blend of citrus top notes on a leather & wood base.
Starbucks - Coffee makes morning better. Whether you're a morning person or not, this espresso scent will help you get going!
True Lavender - While this is a solitary note, it is the king of lavender. Pure Bulgarian lavender essential oil gives it a complexity you won't find with the blended 40/42 commonly used when referring to lavender essential oil. Of course, that means it costs twice as much, but it is definitely worth it. The best lavender scent you can buy.
Vetiver - A fresh take on vetiver. Our version is clean and refreshing, like fresh cut grass and a cool lemonade. Lemon, florals, sandalwood, patchouli, musk, and vetiver are blended to create this refreshing interpretation.
Spruce Up - Inspired by the great pine forests of Oregon, Washington, & Canada, Spruce Up evokes the freedom and masculinity of the northern wilds. Pine, patchouli, & balsam wood to bring the Pacific Northwest closer to home.
Summer Breeze - It's back! Our homage to Cool Water brings to mind a fresh summer breeze. Walking along the beach, the coast, or taking a ride on the waves. Clean and refreshing, celebrate the summer with a blend of lavender, menthe, sandalwood, iris and musk.
